Some changes that could be made to my career

 

I should start by saying that I am a student of the cinema and tv career, and in my fifth year I must say that I have been quite critical about how the study plan of my career is organized.
In first place, starting with the fact that it’s very oriented towards the side of the journalism career, being not entirely a cinema school but a career more oriented to the utilitarian service of cinema itself. Several of the theoretical subjects that one has mixed with the journalism career are similar and repetitive in terms of concepts that you must work with, topics on methodology that are not being taught by people who work in the audiovisual world sometimes makes you feel like nonsense and meaningless, but when those subjects consume the time that you could be experimenting different ways and methods of working the cinematographic language, and that is another point that I would change if i had that power, I feel like this career doesn’t congratulate experimentation and on the other side it seems to reward one specifical way to make films, which is often easier for people who have the economic resources to make it. About this last point, it seems excessive that the career is closely reaching the CL $5 million, because it doesn’t seem to be justified in the materials that the university allocates in equipment such as cameras, lenses or editing programs, considering a little outdated.
All these things i think they should give them a review, because it cannot be that they give less than a year to carry out a project with the ambitions of being your egress project.
